My Childhood

As a child, I grew up reading a plethora of books. From the Diary of Anne Frank, Oliver Twist, Huckleberry Finn, The Berenstain Bears, Sweet Valley High, Nancy Drew series, Archie Comics and many other stories. These tales invited me to travel to an imaginary dimension that was beautifully orchestrated by the authors.

I found great satisfaction in reading, which helped develop a fluid imagination, set the foundation for my academic, which lead me to become an expressive child writer.  I would often write short stories and poems as a hobby. As an adult, I continue to make books part of her life.

Our Children

Many underserved children do not have access to books. With that, literacy suffers, followed by a decline in education and opportunities later in life.

As individuals, we can tackle this systemic oversight by connecting with organizations and institutions to approach the problem together to make a difference. Finding The JEMS has coupled up with a few organizations where we are providing hundreds of books to support the literacy of our less fortunate children. Together we are making a difference and increasing the odds of academic success.

The more that you read, the more things you will know.

The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go.
